As a senior data scientist at Ada, you will be responsible for extracting patterns and deriving novel insights from user data to drive continuous improvement of Ada’s reasoning capabilities. You will devise tools to empower our in-house medical experts, simplifying and streamlining their workflow. You will also supervise junior co-workers in these efforts. Working closely with colleagues who are experts in clinical medicine, medical inference and AI you will take a leading role in turning Ada into an increasingly data-driven platform focused on positively impacting the health and lives of millions of individuals across the globe.

Minimum qualifications 

  • PhD or comparable experience in bioinformatics, physics, maths, engineering, computer science, or any other data-related science
  • Programming skills
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, Python, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently paired with strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with Java, MongoDB, Javascript, React JS, and Git workflow
  • Expertise in pattern recognition, machine learning or predictive analytics
  • Experience of working with clinical datasets

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage large clinical datasets in novel ways to derive insights and solve real clinical problems
  • Design new tools and tracking systems for case data analysis, learning and prediction
  • Take a leading role in reviewing and transforming workflows to make them increasingly data-driven
  • Facilitate clinical benchmarking, outcomes measurement and impact studies
